Nice thread, do you ride a horse or drive it? In actual terms a motor is electrical, an engine is gas or otherwise powered, someone correct me on this!! It's all nomenclature.

Ride a motorcycle---drive a car. My propulsion device is a motor as in motorcycle, although motor is not correct, but I relate to it....

Motorcop --who would ever say "enginecop"
Motorhead-- same as above
Motormouth-- same
Motormount-- sigh

Ride , as far the eng. goes it's an engine or a moter depending on which way the wind is blowin at the time.

Ride any motor cycle or Quad, drive a car or lorry, thats how it goes in the UK and that's written in law. ( Road traffic act 1984 )
