It sounds like a simple case of a TP brand change to me...

Tme passes, things change.

A friend of mine told me he looked in the mirror one morning and saw a 14 inch hair growing out of his ear.

Some **** sneaks up on you.

Maybe it's not the seat at all...jus sayin'

On my Vulcan I had a Saddleman and then a Russell Day Long. The Day Long was really nice... until... When I adopted my RK, I put a Harley Hammock Seat on it. Man, that has to be the sweetest fanny plant on 2 wheels. It is total... and I mean total comfort. I'm sure other things work from pads to Mustangs, but I would swear in a court of law by the Hammock Seat!!!

I too have ridden many different bikes (even some rice burners [forgiveness please]) and have never had the problem consistently like this ultra gives me. I also currently ride a RK Classic with a stock seat, never a problem no matter how many miles. I have tried Mustang seats, Corbin seats, other HD seats with no problem. You said you like the HD Hammock seat, I've never ridden on one but they look very comfortable. I just hate to lay out that kind of money with HOPES that its good. I'll be riding down to Panama City next spring, maybe someone like Mustang will let me try a seat before I buy one.

You could try seat beads. They don't cost much and they will allow some air flow. Here is a link:
