Just got to the office....42 degrees when I left my house. Sorta blue sky though, hoping for a decent day and ride home tonight.

 

I ride about every day but I'll admit....

If I didn't live in SoCal where it really doesn't get below mid 50's and if I couldn't split lanes, I'd drive.

As it is, I find when I do drive I feel less safe. Nice and comfy in the car and in stop and go traffic I tend to fall asleep.

 

I ride everyday but I don't think I will ride in the rain anymore, my bike was FILTHY after the last rain storm we had. For a quick ride in the rain it took 20x times as long to get it clean again when I could have spent that time riding in nice weather.

Next time it rains... I'll take my truck.

 

I rode today with morning temps in the low 30's. I think this may be my last day for quite some time since they are calling for snow tomorrow.....

 

I did. Even took a longer road home just to enjoy it! I may "get lost" on the way home Monday!

 

Today was my first ride to work left around 830pm...can't wait to jump back on around 7 am....I to might have to go on a different route home!! Might have to hit up South Beach or something on the way home!! Its way out of the way!! LOL!!

 

I rode to work this morning although it was a balmy 50 something degrees.

 

I rode. Dang, low 40's on the way to work and 50's on the way home. Nipply to say the least......but worth it.

 

I'm retired. Don't ride to work anymore. I ride when and where I want.
