About 30 degrees when I left and heading in the 50s. Great day for a ride. Just need to really commit to better winter gloves.

Mid thirties on the way in is the norm. Looks like we have snow heading this way so the cage is about to start racking up the miles.

But I did ride to work today - actually last nite for the night shift. About 58 degrees on the way to work, 48 on the way home. About 36 mile round trip. Nice ride.
You just named all the reasons why I would love to live there :-)

I ride to work everyday unless it's raining when I'm about to leave my house. Lowest I rode so far is 40 degrees.

I live in Socal and ride to work a lot.. I can get there in about half the time (30 mile commute in car takes ~1 hr to 1.5hr) on the bike but I do split lanes.. Keeps me on my toes!

I can get there in about half the price. Plus enjoy everyday to work. Rain or Shine.

I rode it in today. Was about mid 60's at 5:30 this morning, might get wet on the way home though. Not many riding days left, trying to get all in that I can before they salt the roads.

I rode to work today. It's in the 60's here, so I didn't even need the helmet and gloves. (Yes, I wear the helmet to protect from cold).

Opened the garage at 0640, fog was so dense, could not see my neighbors house. So I changed in to work clothes and took the car. 30 miles later the sun was coming out ... damn! Supposed to be 70 here. Oh well ...yesterdays Sunday long ride was great.
