Default How many have crashed.

How many here have never crashed a bike, not counting the very low speed tip over. but anything in 2nd gear or over 10mph counts.

Don't count off road on a dirtbike or anything on a track.

I've crashed so many times on the street when I was just a small turtle, and got hit by a cage recently. I'm sure now that I do have a Guardian angel. Whew! Good thing!

I did a u-turn with the forks still locked on my shadow. Tipped over at about two mph. Did a five mph slideout in a corner when the front wheel hit sand. Got new handlebars and custom paint on the shadow for that one. Been riding dirt and street since 1964. Crashed in the dirt more times than I care to remember though.

Once, the morning after my bachelor party...totally my fault. Big guy upstairs was looking out for me that day.

I'm Not counting all the crashes I had in the 60s and 70s when I raced motocross and flat track. On the street I have been down so many times I can't remember them all. Only put in the hospital twice though. If I had all the skin on me I lost on the pavement I would weigh 500 pounds.

T-Boned a car doing 40mph. Walked away with no injuries.

I can count about 8 'close-calls' over the years which could have easily been accidents. These include loseing traction on turns (oil), panic stops, cars changing lanes into me.... and one time riding my RD350 so drunk I can't remember how I got to where I was. My Bad.

A few little scrapes, but only one that I would consider a real accident.
