too bad not enough time to get riders nationwide to wear those 'can you see me now' shirts or something along those lines in support - any effort that would get national news coverage

wish i was back in SD, i'd definitely jump over the mountains for this

Someone asked where it is...

It's just east of El Cajon, CA. Take the Dunbar exit from eastbound I-8 and then double back a mile or two on old Hwy 80 and you'll find it. Flynn Springs is a little community alongside the road.

A friend of mine was killed in a wreck near San Diego on Sunday. USMC Major Lawrence Washington was passing two of the guys he was riding with and hit head-on with another biker going in the opposite direction. Last I heard the guy he hit was in critical condition.
