How much discount for leftover 2010 Fatboys?
#11
Good point..
as to the other "expert street glide purchaser" ... you can get a new SG for 17,000 flat ... then add in you 650 worth of goodies and ...bingo ..same price but without all the inflated fees.. and I know they told you at the dealership that "everyone" has to pay these BS fees...
ummmm... They don't !
But how would I know , only four of my friends did this exact thing this year at Nashua HD..
(shameless plug...)

You should be able to get atleast $1500 off msrp + extras. The msrp price hasn't changed from last year $15'999(black) & $16'374(color) so unless their willing to make a great deal there isn't any real value in buying a leftover compared to a new one. With them having 4 in stock I would low ball them and see what happens. They need to sell them, but you don't need to buy one.

We got one left with the chrome wheels that's normally $19,100 out the door that is being offered up for $17,000 out the door (includes Illinois tax, title and license).

I'm in your area. I love your Street Glide dude. What dealer did you buy from in STL. I am trying to decide on which bike to get. I want a SG but it might be out of my price range so I am looking at the Fatboy. What dealer do you like?
I see Docs has 1% financing so that is worth a look.

Go to St. Charles, and talk to "Big Brad" (any day but Tuesdays).
Tell him I sent ya, or better yet hit me up and I'll see if I can meet you there.
He's never treated me wrong...helped me get about $8000 in installed accessories for just $4000. Basically the bars and pipes are the only things that didn't come on the bike.
Ever since the new owners took over and made it *NOT* Bob Schultz, it's been the exact opposite of the crap-hole it used to be. And Brad is one of the major reasons.
He also personally showed up at the hospital when my wife wrecked....pulled out of the poker run we were all in, just to make sure she was ok.
But at the same time, if Doc's has the right bike and you can get 1%.....hell, go for it.
(St Charles has one 2010 Fat Boy left, in Fire Engine Red, and a couple 2011's at the moment. A yellow one and I think the other is blue. Also has a couple '11 Lo's)
Gateway has a nice 2009 with less than 3K miles on it, as well. Silver. They were asking $14,900 sticker on it last weekend. They also had a few other Fat Boys....their used inventory is pretty good right now.
No idea what Doc's has.

Hey Gru thanks for the info. I did see they have a 2011 Street glide with the powerpak at Saint Charles HD for like 24,000. Do you think they would deal much off that price? I know its a hot bike now so they probably don't need to do much to move it.
That Fatboy is a Scarlet Red that almost looks orange in some light. So you bought the Blue 2010 Fatboy? Man those Fatboy Lo also look nice. I like the Silver.

They've a couple with the Powerpack I think. How much a deal? Dunno, really...that's the fun of going in yourself and finding out. :P
But honestly I'm not sure. I know any place is more likely to give a better deal on 10's, but every sale is a sale.
I would have gone with a black or a sliver Fat Boy (if mine, would have been a Lo)...but she fell in love with the blue. Gotta admit, it's sharp.
