I saw that box in the store, it looks very nice. My buddy is a Snap-On dealer and got me a nice box real cheap from a guy who could not pay for it.

I dunno 500 will buy a lot of tools vs a box to put em in.

I just have a craftsman roller/chest an old kennedy chest and a couple/three plastic boxes.

Prolly don't have 500 in tools ( at home ) even ...well maybe ...

Hah ! just remembered I have a over $400.00 Wood Gerstner at work.........

of course that was purchased when toolmaking was actually a trade.

I wrench for a living, so what I have is way overkill for what you need. Regardless, it has all the space I need and its built like a tank:

An alternative is to look on Craigslist or even Ebay for a used Matco, Snap-On, or Mac. I'm not impressed by Cornwell products so I wouldn't suggest them.

Its held up well. Its a little cheaper construction than say A Craftsman ( Kennedy) box. The draws stick alittle if they are filled with a lot of heavy stuff. The one you are looking at looks a lot more heavy duty. As you said you are not a Pro. Should hold up good for weekend wrenching. I like all my tools in one organized box. Heres a coupon just in case.http://www.harborfreightusa.com/html...mages/20_c.jpg You can use the coupon on sale items.

There is a coupon for this exact box, in BIKER magazine, for $139. I bought one last week. I think it was in the December issue.

GREAT BOX FOR THE PRICE!

They work great for a garage box no or a beginner mechanics budget outfit . Only thing is if they bring it out in a box open it at the store don't wait till home , I've seen 3 of them that have been tweaked out of square by having been dropped while shipping in the boxes .

I'm eventually going to pick up 3 or 4 of them and redo my bench so it all matches .
