I ride with my dad every weekend! we live 8 miles apart!

I am 22, he is 52, we know we have a lot of years left, but we always take advantage of each ride cause you just never know! My DREAM would to have a son and ride with him and my dad. but i dont see that in the books!

As a sons point of view, i will promise you 100% he cherishes it just as much or more as you do!

ride safe!

Glad you had such a good time! My kids are too young to ride their own street bike but I mounted brackets for higher pegs and all 3 started riding on the back of mine when they turned 5.

I did take my Mom out the last time they came to visit.

My son and I rode down to the Talladega race couple weeks ago. Next yr my older son and his son who will be 16 should have their license by then. My wife and daughter rides also. The only problem is I don't have enought harley's. Currently only 3 and 4 riders in the family

I took my son out to breakfast this morning. It was only about a 50 mile round trip, but we had fun. It's great when families hang out together.

You guys have such great storys about your sons or dads! My dad died in 1975, when he was only 42. I was twenty then. Seems like a million years ago in a way.

Great stories.

Haven't ridden with anyone, but hope to ride with my dad and brother someday, and mom even wants to ride. My mom's the one who basically said, why don't you all go get your licenses... she's also talked about getting gun licenses. Yeah, I'll say it, I love my mom. Anyway, hope to ride with them all someday.

Great post, good for you and your son.

My son is 31, been riding dirt bikes forever, then decided he wanted a sport bike so bought a Honda CBR600RR. Then I decided it'd be a great way to stay in touch with him if I got a bike, so after fifteen years out of the saddle I bought an '07 Deluxe.

We started riding together (we live 175 miles apart), he thought I looked a lot more comfortable on the Harley, so we went shopping one Saturday - he ended up buying an '08 Street Bob and I traded the Deluxe on my '09 FLHTC. Fun day.

We've put 'em up for the winter, but planning trips for next year. Bought him a Bright *** light for Christmas. The bikes give us something in common we just wouldn't have otherwise - priceless.

My son and I ride together every chance we get. He was away in the Air Force for 9 years and has been back home since June. He has an 05 Sporty and I have my RK. It's great to have these bonding moments. We'll take off early this Thursday, ride down the coast to have breakfast with my daughter and ride back. Four hours of bliss with 2 of my favorite people in the world, can't ask for more!
