Stopped by the old Shumate building this morning and talked to one of the guys there. Says Rattlesnake Mountain Harley is opening for business 16 November. Quite a few new Harleys on the floor and he said they will have the service department and clothing/accessories open. Metric building will also be open for business.

Glad the Tri Cities will get a new dealer. I hear it's a RideNow dealer, which owns about 2 dozen motorcycle dealerships. Mostly in AZ and the south.

Thanks for the heads-up -- we're over there quite a bit and just haven't been by the store lately. Headed that way next week, we'll stop in and see what's going on.

I heard they are the owners of Lone Wolf HD in Coeur D'Alene, ID. This was from the employees of Lone Wolf that told me this. If it is you will now have a great dealership (hopefully) because they are some of the best people at Lone Wolf. Best dealer I've been too thus far. Shumate was a bag of poop!!

 

Oh and if they have their service area set up like Lone Wolf it is a total dream garage and from what I heard they do great work.

 

Nope. Lone wolf did not buy the Kennewick store. Just the Spokane store, and I believe the inventory of the Lewiston dealer. I agree they are awesome in Coeur D Alene, but the Spokane store still sucks. IMO

 

It'd be great to have a dealership that close - plus, on this side of the mountains. I hope it turns out to be a quality outfit.
