Wife has been offered a job in Memphis. Any tips on good riding in the area? Any tips on areas to stay out of? What is the Raleigh area of Memphis like?

I-240 is the loop system around Memphis. Stay outside of 240. Raleigh, stay far, far away. Bartlett, Collierville, and Germantown are all nice areas. Also, Desoto County Mississippi is ok and avoids Shelby County and Memphis taxes.

...and flat as a table top!
You'll need to go east to get into anything close to a hill and twisties.

Some of the best riding in the country is just the other side of the state,Smokey Mountians and areas around it are great.Pretty good clip from Memphis but worth it.

Southaven, Ms and Germantown, Tn are nice places. However, you need to stay the hell out of memphis unless you intend to strap a M-60 to your handlebars....

Anything west of the center of the state is all twisty! Promise that!
Their are the Ouachita and the Ozark mountains to enjoy with some of the best twisty roads to be had anywhere
