Locals don't go to Beale unless they are drugged up and taken by tourists.

 

Memphis sucks. Mid-South winters suck. Grey, wet, and never snow. ALWAYS ICE!!!

Wanna talk about it? I grew up in Memphis my entire life until 2007, right in the middle of it. I didn't live in the burbs, I was in the local crowd. Played in bands, and DJ'd huge shows, and also in the local night clubs. I drove through there today on my way home from Florida, and all I could think of is what a **** hole. The local govt doesn't keep up anything. People there love to **** you over, can't drive, and nobody has insurance. I could go on and on, but is it really worth it? Your there. Make the best of it.

 

From Memphis, it dont matter if you go east,west,north,south.. no matter which way you go there is some great riding,, just about take a life time to ride it all. Just pick a point on the map or just go and follow your nose.
