Default Mustang seat comfort

I'm currently looking at the super touring seat that supposedly moves you back and down. My question is just how comfortable these seats are. Never had a Mustang seat? I currently have a HD Tallboy, just trying to understand the difference in the two.

As far as Mustang goes (on a RKC) mine moved me up and forward as opposed to back and down. It is very comfortable though and if I had to do it all over again, it would be Mustang for me.

I've got a Mustang Wide Touring seat and it moved me up and forward as well. Worked out for me because I have shorter legs and a longer torso. Absolutely love the seat as I tried numerous other things before trying the Mustang. Wife (passenger) loves her seat, too. If I ever get another bike in the future, a Mustang seat will be the first thing I do!

My Mustang seat is one of the best mods I have made. My wife and I have no butt issues and do 300 mile rides on a regular basis.

I've had mustang seats on 3 different bikes and the only seat I've ever had that was more comfortable is the Danny Grey that's currently on my RKC. If I ever get another bike, I would not hesitate for a second to put a Mustang seat on it. I've tried Corbins and various Harley seats, and none of them are as comfortable for me as the Mustangs I've had. Some swear by different Harley seats, like for instance the Sundowner, but for my money a Mustang offers far superior comfort to anything Harley makes. Your rear end may have a different opinion than mine, but my butt and back prefers Mustang.

I've been using mustang seats for over ten years, on several bikes. When I bought the '09 Street Glide, the wife told me to order the seats before I even got the bike.

Best mod on my bike. Love my Mustang seat. Really cuts down on the fatigue factor on long rides when you are as comfortable as possible.

I just ordered the super touring seat w/backrest (p/n 79556) yesterday. Should have it by Monday the 15th, or if I'm really lucky maybe this Friday.

Sure hope I like it... $700 for something in a catalog/online without being able to see and touch it is pushing the limits for me.

As far as moving the rider back goes (1.75") I hope their description is accurate as the stock seat pushes me too far forward. I'm 6'1".

I had a extra stock seat modified at a local shop to move me back and it works well, but I'm not completely satisfied with the way it looks. Hopefully this Mustang seat will be just what the doctor ordered!

I'll let you know next week.

No comfort in the Mustang seat for me. Maybe I'm too tall to enjoy this seat. I am still looking for another.

Will only speak for my Sportster .. The Mustang Seat and Progressive Shocks was the cats meow for comfort vs.Stock .. Don't Really have any complaints with the Seat on the Ultra that justifies spending that kind of money after doing almost 6,000 miles on it going to Sturgis and Back .. Couple of the Days were 700-800 Milers ..
