no, like others have stated it's in the gears in the trans. oil is dragging. normal.

"changing to halogen headlights...."

Where on the wheel should I place the bulb so that the wires won/t get tangled when the wheel spins?

The lawn mower reference is wrong.

The rear wheel is most likely turning due to resistance of the oil in the primary between the clutch plates. Mine does the same thing.

Tail light oil being low can cause that also....
