If I had to guess I would say it is/was a Honda Ruckus.
Albeit highly modified...... but still a Ruckus.

My wife had one (stock) before she quit riding altogether.

That little guy is my Honda Ruckus, like GRWHD mentioned. Here's a better shot of it, along with my wife's tucked underneath. Built them over the last few winters to tool around on through the neighborhood and all. Obviously can't manage to leave anything alone lol.

I can relate, I actually had a Grom and it just didn't cut it. Had it for a year, did some modifications to it then ended up selling it before we moved. Couldn't be happier I sold it, and that lead to the Blackline upgrade.

They're a lot of fun for what they are, I've been able to squeeze just over 50 mph reliably out of the little 50cc stock motor.

That is good, I was able to right at 35 with my wife's (rock stock).
50 would make it safe in town, 35 was not overly (speeds up to 45).
Plus it took more work to keep gaining speeds after 25.

Those are sweet, amazing how much you can squeeze out of that little 50.
Can't you bump them up to ...... 150cc...... (probobly wrong on that number).

Fun little bikes, especially for camping/around the neighbor hood.

Yeah stock they are definitely questionable for a lot of main roads. The stock motor there are a few guys doing big bore kits, but they just aren't very reliable. These being a liquid cooled motors limits a lot. But most people swap to a Chinese/Taiwan motor called a GY6 that you can big bore to 200+cc, but again you start to lose reliability out of them. That was my main reasoning to stick with the stock Honda motor. I have spent a lot of time tuning the CVT though to get the speed out of mine.
