my guess is most these guys have nice garages because they busted *** for years and made decent choices in life. I haven’t seen an “only old money” garage in this thread.

Temporary quarters is a corner of my father's 15,000 sq foot machine shop that we closed about a year ago. This is three of my fleet of four, the forth is my 96 FLSTN which is currently at my Indy's shop waiting for me to pick it up

We are in the process of selling equipment so the place is a mess

You've got that right.

I recall a long weekend where-as I changed a head gasket on a 2005 Dodge Omni in my gravel driveway.
On top of that it was January in Western South Dakota and the temperature was -10 degrees without the wind.

I can honestly say that nobody has ever given me anything.

After 20+ years in the Air Force, going to night school for more than 10 years, putting my Wife and 2 of my 3 Son's through college, I've earn everything I've got to include a decent home for my Harley.

Home sweet home...One day I would like to get a Race Deck floor. A blind man must have done the concrete in my house. It would take major work to get it good enough for epoxy....
