I don't do much wrenching so I don't need a whole lot of tools. I am ordering a four post lift for the car though.

Don't need to get it up much Only need 4' to roll around under it I bought the car from a guy who had a low ceiling and a lift. He could get a Miata under it. But all he wanted to do was have more room for his Garden tractor and bike and make oil and tire changes a snap.

The Alternative to raise a Corvette is not pretty.

Raising a Vette is a PITA no matter what. I guess any lift is better than none.

You don't need a high ceiling but you cannot raise all the way. The seller of my Corvette had this one with a low ceiling. Car was only lifted a few feet enough to get under it on a rolling stool. What I did not like is the wheels are on a track. Good for fluid changes but not so much for brakes and tires. I would prefer the wheels be free hanging

There are portable lifts that look really good to me as well.

I really like this one. Just found it. This would work for the bike as well but I have to see if the lift points will accommodate the Vette. Probably not.

I just sold one just like that, I didn't like it, but I have 3 two-posts and one long drive on.

Goood to know...I am also looking at this one...I have a floor lift for the bike.

This would work with a 10' ceiling easily.and can be rollled oout of the way if neccesary
