I have great neighbors too. We have a very cohesive and active neighborhood, and my neighbors don't mind the Harley at all. One of my neighbors actually told me to come past her house loud when I come and go, she loves the sound of it!

 

I have a lesbian couple across the street..
They are really nice and the kicker is they
make their living making costumes for strippers.
Always alot of"good looking"traffic in their driveway...

 

My neighbors are totally goofy. Now that I have a Harely and they see me in the garage washing it or whatever, they stop in to tell me why they would never buy a Harley. Why the hell would I care why they would never buy a Harely? Never happened when I had my goldwing. It must be a Harley phenomenom.

 

I have an elderly couple across the street who are in their 80's and are very active and set the standard of health. But since they are seasoned in age and slightly forgetful I make it my duty to ensure that each night their garage door is closed etc.... If I see a salesman or someone I have never seen before going to the door I get involved. I do this because I can not stand seeing our seniors being taken advantage of. I hope when I am of age there will be a young couple who's parents trained them as my mom trained me.

 

I think I am lucky enough to have the best neighbors....80 acres of TREEs.....Smack dab in the middle of them..

 

I don't have neighbors. I have loyal subjects.

There are 8 harleys on my block so my neighbors are pretty used to hearing them.

 

i like that... when i get out of this city thats my plan - no neighbors, and no neighborhoods

 

The neighborhood kids think it is cool to have the motorcycle guy fix their bikes, which gets me on the good side of the parents. On the weekends that I am on call, the neighbors check to find out if I am on call or if I am sick and need help.

 

I've been here 10 years & don't even know my neighbors. Closest one is 1/4 mile away. We just wave. Works for me.
