Do you heat your garage to work on your bike in the winter ?
I'm looking at some Nat/gas infered 30,000 btu heater for a two car garage. But do'nt know if this is big enough. If you have gas heat in your garage what size is it ?

I don't have any heat, but then Florida doesn't get cold.

Yeah, have to agree with the above. Lots of variables there.
I'm in South Texas and just use a small space heater in my 24x24 garage but I also have an hugely energy efficient home with a ton of insulation on the outside walls, Low e glass windows, and insulation pads on the garage door.

I have a 23k btu propane burning infared heater in my 12 x 24 uninsulated brick garage, that is kinda drafty. The heater will bring it up from 30 to 60 in no time. I use a 100 lb tank for fuel. That way, I can take it and get it filled myself without relying on dleivery.
Before I put it in that garage, it had been used as emergency heat for a 1200 sq ft house and would heat it up pretty well.

I live in New Jersey. The garage is 20 x 24 and 10' high and not insulated. Most of the winter months Nov - March the temps are from 20 to 50 deg. And the unit I was looking at was a Sun Star 44408000.

In northern MN it dips down to -30 yep.....that's 30 degrees below zero. My garage is decently insulated. I have a huge fuel oil furnace that could heat a mid-size house. Not sure on the BTU's but it does the job.
