Default Question About Leatherup.com

Have any of you purchased anything from www.leatherup.com ??? The OL found some chaps here but the price almost seems to good to be true or that I am going to get a junk product. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks you all.

My lady is very pleased with the leather overpants with full length leg zippers that I gave her from Leatherup. They compare to the Joe Rockets that I have, for about a third less cost.

I got a pair of leather pants for the colder riding and just for some extra protection. Very pleased with the quality. Just a little tip though is to order at least 1 size larger than u normally wear. I went 2 sizes and mine fit perfect.

I bought a pair of stirrups. you know, those things that keep your pants from flying up over your boots. They fell apart before I got home from a 400 mile ride.

I bought a leather jacket from LU, I found their sizing charts are way off, I ordered one size up and it was still too small. I sent it back and they replaced it, but I was out shipping costs.

I came to the conclusion a few years back that I'd never buy any leather stuff that I couldn't inspect and/or try on in person first.

Doesn't matter how good a company is, too many things to "go wrong" with ordering sight-unseen with leather stuff, ya know?

My experience is that they have fantastic customer service and cheap imported leather goods. I have ordered a bunch of things from them and Jafrum. Most of the stuff looks decent but doesn't really last very long. I would bet their chaps are pretty thin.

I bought a pair of engineer boots (hard to find these days) about a year ago. I'm very happy with them. They're really holding up well.

I just ordered chaps and a coat from them. VERY pleased at the quality and the way they fit. Be sure to get your chaps and coat at least one size larger. Price and shipping was great!!!

Leatherup chaps & stuff we've purchased over the last few years was not thin leather at all, we couldn't beat the quality for the shipped cost & really does runs at least 2 sizes small. Good luck.
