Default Best helmet locks? Who has a solution?

I am looking for a solution to not having a helmet lock on my bike. I have a separate lock that I use on the locking sissybar, but would like to see other options as well. Anyone? Oh yeah, I live in a metropolitan area and don't trust my helmet anytime at all. Many friends have had theirs stolen. I have seen the lock that attaches to the rear taillight, kinda cool, but what else is there?

Talk to the banks and get one of them dye packs, with a tether to your sissy. When they grab it , it will flip up the helmet opening and explode on the thief. Arrest is easy after that.

I use one of the padlocks they throw in when you purchase a handgun.

Just wear a piece of crap looking helmet and leave it on your bike. No one will steal it. That's what I do.

I carry a bike cable lock that will fit through the d-clasp on my helmet - run it through the handlebar clamps - at least that's the plan!

I've had friends lose the crappiest helmets.

I've seen bikes damaged by someone pulling and twisting on the helmet. (saw the damage, not the act of it )
Seen straps cut.

Best way to go if you must leave it on the bike are...
1. Just leave it and hope it stays usually does. Maybe have a cheaper helmet for when you know you need to leave it.
2. Buy one of those cable locks that goes through the chin bar on a full face.
3. Mount the lock to somewhere far from paint and breakables like on a crash guard.

I was looking for a simple helmet lock and found this one from Kuryakyn. It won't stop a determined thief, but it is unobtrusive on my bike. It works great and takes only a few minutes to install.

I like mine-
