There's some stuff you can get called Blue Job. Worked when I dropped a shami on my pipes.

E-Z Off oven cleaner.Let it sit for about 5 min. and remove. Won't harm your chrome.

I second the E-Z Off suggestion. Just don't get it on paint.

I use to ride a Softail Custom. If I got shoe rubber on the pipe, I'd get the pipe hot, apply mineral spirits to a cotton rag and wipe the burned on rubber away. If you try this wear a glove, so you don't burn your hand. Nice thing about this approach or E-Z Off is they're non-abrasive. A copper penny or fine grade steel wool might damage chrome if you're too aggressive.

Easy Off cold formula left on overnight. As stated, do not get on paint. If it is still hard to remove scrap it off with a pre 1982 copper penny.

Road Rub, small white deoderant looking tube. I got mine at the local MOCO and wouldn't use anything else.

Small dab of simi-chrome ,(available at your dealer), on pipes, rub with a micro fiber towel for a few seconds. That always removes shoe residue, etc... from my chrome pipes.

Cheers,

Tom

Bet you it looks gnarly to have some hair sticking to your pipes - may want to leave it there

I second the oven cleaner. My wife melted the heel of her boot on my pipes and it took it off after a little scrubbing.
