Default Shoei Quest full face helmet; anybody got one?

I was going to order a Shoei RF1100 and while researching it found the new quest for touring that is snell 2010 approved and vented for more of an upright seating position......so I ordered the Quest instead of the RF1100....

Anyone got one?

Let me know how it goes for you. I have a RF1000, and I like it a lot.

Here is a quote from the below webBikeworld review that made me purchase the qwest.

Here's the bottom line folks: the Shoei Qwest is everything the RF-1100 and the X-12 should be and could be. Both of those helmets are, quite frankly, overpriced and overweight, but the Qwest is a marvel. As far as I'm concerned, anyone choosing an RF-1100 would be much better off with a Qwest. The Qwest has the same or better build quality; the vents are less fussy; it's quieter; it's lighter and, best of all, it's $155.00 cheaper!

Before u buy from Revzilla, check out helmetshop.com. It's $ 279 (including shipping). Bought an X-12 from them with no complaints.

When you get to the checkout page, it asks for a discount coupon. Type in the word "shoei" and you get a $ 70 discount off retail.

I took advantage of your info and bought one from helmetshop.com myself. I ordered on Thursday using the discount code and I received the helmet (free shipping) the following Monday. Kudos to this vendor !!

The helmet is one of the few that fits me comfortably and I'm looking forward to putting some miles on it as soon as the rain stops

Thanks for the recommendation and the discount info.

JP
