What to do with take off's
Over the years there is an accumulation of take off's from a variety of bike.
I know ebay is a choice but really time consuming to list for little in return.
Any ideas on how to move the stuff in bigger chunks?

If it's decent stuff throw it on craigslist and see if there is any interest. I find myself shopping craigslist pretty often.
This is my first post so I hope to not offend anyone!

I usually keep my stock parts and then put them back on when selling the bike. I think you get more back when selling the aftermarket parts then selling the stock parts. But yeah Craigslist as well as here is a good place to list. Take one big picture of everything and ask for offers. I have done a lot of buying and selling here, with success

You can list them here in the classified section. I'd take a look at the "Want to buy" section in the classified section here also. Might be someone looking for something you have.
If you have some **** from older bikes you might be surprised how much you can get on ebay for it especially if it's in good condition.

Depends on your financial situation I guess. I sell my stuff on Ebay because it's convenient. I don't make a lot, but I almost always turn right around and BUY something off of Ebay that I need with the proceeds. It keeps the boss off my back for spending MORE money on the bike.
For example, I bought Hill Country Custom saddlebag guards off ebay with some previous proceeds. I sold the take offs and made back about 65%.
I hate cluttering up the garage/barn with take-offs.

If there's a chance that I would be able to put it back on real fast if/when I trade or sell the bike, I hang on to it.
If I know I won't need it, I'll try to sell it. But only if I *know* that I won't be able to swap it back on if I were getting rid of the bike.
If it doesn't sell, or ends up being a part of a bike I no longer have, I'll recycle it if it's metal. Otherwise, gets trashed.

I put my take offs in a big box and stopped by a local indy shop and gave them the whole box full of parts. I figured it would make for some better business for me as I needed or wanted parts or advice on service. It has served me well.
