I know really loud pipes are considered cool by some, me inclusive. However, the use of them does nothing more than increase sound ordinance restrictions. Keep it up. Pretty soon we will all be required to keep stock pipes on our bikes. If your pipes are so loud a passing cop needs to pull a u-ee and you gotta commit a felony to get away, get the pipes changed. You've pushed the cool envelope too far.

Keep this attitude up and we will all have to get government approval to make any changes to any of our beloved bikes.

Let me elaborate. I did not speed to evade just used the local geography to my advantage. i would never do anything to endanger others. but sometimes you just know he wants you but you've got the advantage I just used the advantage. speeding away is not an option for me. And as far as felonies... the original post might infer i am familiar with some.

If the db's of your pipes are over the legal limit, then you should have stayed & taken your medicine like a man, instead of running away like a little girl.

No offense, but IMO it's riders like you that give us all a bad rap.

Used to happen weekly as a kid on a dirt-bike, but not since I have been old enough to end up in jail.

Even as a kid, I don't think the police really had their heart in it. They used to give up way to easy, even when we would slow down to let them get close
