Have you ever run from the cops

Right name, Jarhead. Hope you be talking about the MARINES. You have been very lucky. Don't take me wrong. I'm not a LEO. I ain't sure I even like 'em or respect 'em. There is one out there that would shoot you in a heartbeat. Ever watch TV show "COPS" & other BS like that? Some folks would pay $$ to be able to wear and carry and they are dangerous. Good luck & hope you never harm a child while having fun.

Same story as a lot of others...on a dirtbike. We'd ride through some woods and fields that were right in the middle of town and the cops would come out in this old silver Dodge 4X4 and chase us. Very Hazzard county and I think the cops enjoyed it too.

With age comes wisdom.
Last 3 times I was pulled over for speeding I was polite, friendly, respectful and didn't make them follow me down the street for long.
All 3 times I got a "Please drive slower next time" and "Have a nice day"
I got pulled going from Idaho into Washington State for not having a helmet on. I didn't realize I had crossed the line. Cops were cool about it and didn't give a hard time. No ticket. I even took a picture to send home as I was on a cross country trip.
25 years ago I would have reacted differently, but who needs that crap in their lives.

I did it as a kid on my dirt bike many times. There were too many of us riding home on the streets from the trails and we would all just split in different directions. If memory serves, none of us ever got caught. I don't have the ***** to try it these days. Outrunning a cop is one thing. Outrunning a radio is entirely different.
