Right name, Jarhead. Hope you be talking about the MARINES. You have been very lucky. Don't take me wrong. I'm not a LEO. I ain't sure I even like 'em or respect 'em. There is one out there that would shoot you in a heartbeat. Ever watch TV show "COPS" & other BS like that? Some folks would pay $$ to be able to wear and carry and they are dangerous. Good luck & hope you never harm a child while having fun.

Same story as a lot of others...on a dirtbike. We'd ride through some woods and fields that were right in the middle of town and the cops would come out in this old silver Dodge 4X4 and chase us. Very Hazzard county and I think the cops enjoyed it too.

Is hiding the same as running? Anyway, not since I was a teenager and then it wasn't on a bike. Too old for that chit now.

Only once, many years ago. Getting pulled over would have meant some jail time, for sure. An eluding charge was the least of my worries at the time.

Very costly to beat Fleeing, a Felony. I know! You don't want it on your record.

With age comes wisdom.

Last 3 times I was pulled over for speeding I was polite, friendly, respectful and didn't make them follow me down the street for long.

All 3 times I got a "Please drive slower next time" and "Have a nice day"

I got pulled going from Idaho into Washington State for not having a helmet on. I didn't realize I had crossed the line. Cops were cool about it and didn't give a hard time. No ticket. I even took a picture to send home as I was on a cross country trip.

25 years ago I would have reacted differently, but who needs that crap in their lives.

I have to admit, when I was younger and dumber, I did, but I have learned my lesson over the years and wouldn't consider it these days (unless I thought I could get away with it)

Yeah, me too. But I don't think the cops tried very hard to actually catch us. They just showed up so that who ever complained saw that they had chased us off.
