Passing lamp replacement bulb!
The other day the bulb in one of my passing lamps burnt out. Went to my dealer and shelled out 16 bucks and change for a new one. Dang! For the heck of it, on the way home I stopped at NAPA and showed them the onld buld and in 15 seconds, had me an exact replacement.....for 7 bucks and change. Dont have the NAPA number with me but all ya got to do is show them your old one and he'll fix ya up. Ya know, I do like to support my dealer as they do have to make a buck to keep the doors open but 16 bucks for a bulb!!!

I changed one out for my B-I-L s few weeks ago and chastised him for paying the Harley tax on his replacement bulb. Damn bulb didn't even say H-D anywhere on it. It was made by GE, which are the same exact ones you can buy at Wal-Mart. I believe they are H-3 bilbs.

I wanted to replace the 68453-05 Aux Light bulbs on my '10 FLHTK from those ugly Yellow and weak bulbs that HD puts in them. I did my homework and found if you go on ebay, look up "8500K Xenon HID 894 898 881 886 Head Fog light Bulbs". They are an exact fit, are slightly blue from white and incredibly brighter even though they are still 27 watt. I changed my headlight to HID and these things are exactly the same look in color and wow, what a difference. Oh ya, the cost is $16.95 and free shipping for the pair. All I can say is I am a very happy camper
