thanks for the helpful info. that's what i heard to that if under helmet, they would work if the strap doesn't slide down when you put on your helmet. these are the aviators recommended to me if they're to go over the helmet.

I have ones similiar to the first you posted.

Kinda bug eyed, but they will only work under your helmet, and I do like them.... I have the iriduim lenses also, which rock btw, anf the leather eye cups. Changing the lenses is a PITA though. I also use just the HD glasses/goggles that I will alternate with the Aviators. The Aviators I will wear with the iridium if it is real bright out. When I wear them with my 3/4 the strap doesn't slide mcuh. IT's when I wear them with a half helmet I have a big problem.

Then I was distracted by your pictures you posted... I think one shows a nice looking rider wearing the ones like I have under a 3/4.

I use cheap pair of global vision spider goggles http://www.amazon.com/Global-Vision-.../dp/B0009MHOP8 over my 3/4 for the rain and in the cold. With my underarmor head gear under my helmet, pulled up over my nose, and those goggles on, no skin is exposed. Wore that setup this morning in 33 degree ride to work. It worked very well. What is good about these gogggles is the price and the strap is coated and absolutely will not slip on your helmet (I have no goggle strap). However the lenses have scratched a lot do to my neglect.

The T2 model from Aviator is what you need for over the helmet and are a very nice goggle. At some point these may replace my cheapo Spider goggles.

ok, thanks. i was thinking of getting the 4440 roadster with leather pad since it's the smaller version of the 4600 to be worn under the 3/4 helmet. i got the lowbrow nos retro bubble shield on order to go on the bell 500 stunt edition helmet that's also on order. i figure i'll use the 4440 with the dark lenses during day and at night just with the bubble shield alone.

thought about the aviator t3 (more compact version of t1/t2) as well so may just get those too and have a 2nd pair to swap back and forth if needed ;-)

oh here's the same rider that you're referring to in a different shot. looks like she wears it well.

I have the Bell Custom 500 Stunt and get compliments all the time on it. Love mine!

She is sporting a serious look going through that curve!

cool! yeah i debated among bell custom 500 stunt, fulmer v2, and daytona cruiser in flat black and orange stripe. went to try out the bell and fell in love...much better in person and smaller than i expected. can't find good dealer around to go test fulmer but no big deal. bell stunt graphics is awesome. thanks for confirmation.

yep, one tough chic there racing the bike.

received my aviator t3 yesterday. i love the look and fit is excellent over the bell helmet, sealing the eyes very well all around.

HOWEVER, i’m not happy with the quality of the t3. seems flimsy and cheap plastic for the frame really. section of leather is the padding against your face and a bit thin. the chrome trim is loose and looks like they can come off very easily. trim is plastic too...thought they’d be real metal. the silver mirror lenses are cool for sure. i got a set of clear lenses as extras set.

i’m returning everything and exchanging for the halcyon mark 49 compact in black leather and real chrome brass to try out. couple pics to see how they fit over bell 500 stunt helmet.
