Default Ural with a Harley Evo?

What do you guys think? Could you put an evo on a Ural?
I was just shootin the bull with my oldest son today and the idea came up. My son and I have built a few bikes in my garage, two of them even won some trophys. We both know a little about Harleys, but I'm not a pro by no means. My son say it can be done but it would cost too much money,I don't know, what do you guys think.

Yeah , you can put a Harley motor in anything, providing you got the tools and know how or the money to pay somebody to do it.

It ain't just putting an engine in the bike.... transmission, and entire drive system
CAN it be done?
sure.... nothing a BIG hammer, and some welding can't fix...
is it WORTH the effort?
probably not.... but you'd sure have fun doing the project.... and after wards

Not sure what you would call it then, but "Hurly-Davidson" comes to mind.

Actually the term Mutt came to mind for me.

I can't think of any reason it couldn't be done.
Should it be done is a different question and the answer depends on why you want to do it.
Years ago I had a friend that put a Chevy V-8 in a VW beetle. The car looked great but was barely drivable.

Not sure you would have enough height without doing a whole lot of frame mods..The Urals that I have seen have the jugs opposed..like a BMW..

I'm sure it can be done but you would have to modify everything else. The Ural as it is now ain't mean to go the speeds the Harley engine could push it.
