just picked up the bike last week and noticed it has a side view window on front mc old bike was on top when the bike is upright the fluid barely covers bottom of window should 'nt it be higher up on the glass? thanks

 

Your manual will say that the fluid should be visible thru the sight glass.The glass will darken with the presence of fluid.
Shake the bike and turn the bars to agitate the fluid.If the the glass is clear then the fluid is low.

Sounds like a little more could be added.
