does anyone know what is going on with the Kennewick Shumate store. I saw posts from a year ago about possible bankruptcy. Yesterday 10/23/10 I went by the store and there were people walking around inside the building on the sales floor, there was about eight cars in the parking lot but the gates into the parking lots were still closed. Are they going to open back up or is the inventory being auctioned off?

The owners of a Harley dealer in Coeur D Alene (Lone Wolf) bought the Spokane and Lewiston store. They bought and sold most of the inventory before opening the Spokane store back up. There may be a new owner of the Kennewick store, but Shumate filed bankruptcy and owes millions to creditors, including Harley.

 

New owners were there interviewing perspective employees for Rattlesnake Mtn. HD on Friday. Ride Now Corp. is expecting to have soft opening on the 15th and a grand opening later this year.

 

I went to ridenow.com, they show Rattlesnake Mountain Harley Davidson. I tried the number and just got a Harley service extention number. Things are looking up in the Tri-Cities.

 

Yes I have also tried calling thanks to Shaun giving me a working website. There is still only a recording but the recording did say that they plan to open 11/16/10.

 

Just saw on the local news KNDU/KNDO that they are opening their doors on 11/16/10. I will be there on the 16th.

 

I wouldn't buy from a Ride Now owned store to save my life. I have friends that have worked for them in the past and they treat their employees like ****.
