has anyone tried this product designed to prevent 2nd degree burns to your thighs while riding? Also has anyone tried using Cordura chaps instead of leather. I read they are lighter in weight but much better is being water proof and wind proof????

 

I bought the shields from RJ Originals, who happens to be a sponser here as well. I have installed them and have only had a few short rides since so I haven't really tested them out fully. They seem to work. I like the design of them as apposed to some others I have seen. The look is clean and tidy. My 1st concern was about holding that heat in and causing more of an overheating problem with my motor, but RJ assured me that wouldn't be an issue.

 

I bought a set from RJ originals as well. They have been on my bike since Nov of last year. What a difference they make. There were times I was stopped at a light or in traffic that I actual questioned why I traded my fatboy in on an Ultra. The heat was unbearable. Well after installing the No More Fried thighs the heat was not only bearable, most times I didn't even notice it at all. Even on Floridas hottest days.

I just bought a PC111, should be in today or tomorrow and I am told that will cure the rest of any heat issues.

Worth the cost.
