I have a spare set of pipes I was gonna wrap..but now I don't think I will...with the fad being challenged and all...
If it's not the fad..I don't want it.
Fad sounds like a gay word.
Gay folks gonna be mad at me now.
We need a new fad.
Maybe tassles on my handgrips..has that been done?
I go now..

I'd kinda like to see that.

Definitely knew this post was gonna go down in flames - just like unwrapped pipes...

Wrapped exhaust is a nice old-style/hot rod look and not a fad at all. Been around for decades & will be around for a long, long time. Probably wouldn't look good on my FLHX, but I like the looks on other scoots. Also, very functional to boot...keep on wrapp'n boys/girls.

I have actually seen a guy who wrapped his crash bar and real tall sissy bar....definitely different, but it won't ever catch on as a fad so I'm not gonna do it....

I was contemplating a 'Mad Max' kinda theme...

I bought some burlap to wrap my engine and bag guards. I also got some camo material, so that I could make removable wraps for fenders, bags, and tank. Thought it would look cool until I realized that I wanted to be SEEN by other vehicles...

Any tailors/seemstresses need some extra material? Maybe I'll drag out my sewin machine and make me some cool chaps and vest!

If you want to shorten your exhausts lifespan, then by all means wrap it.

Thumbs down

You're absolutely right! I'm gonna go in the garage right now and take my wrap off...then I'm gonna go order a windshield and some leather saddlebags! Cuz you don't see that on any bikes around so it couldn't be a fad.
