need help oil is spitting out of the overflow
I have a fatboy with a s&s motor. I just got it andits been sitting for about 4 years I went to start it up and ever time it turned over oil spit out of the overflow. I was told that it was because there is a vacuum in the crank and I need to brake it. Does this sound right and how do I. Brake the vacuum.

If the EVO motor sits for awhile, it's gonna puke. If it doesn't clear up check for a stuck ball.

If your not familiar with the EVO style motor they tend to have that problem after sitting still for long periods of time. An indy can take the check ball out and check for you. That little c heck ball is allowing the engine oil to "sumo" leak past the check ball/valve and accumulate in the bottom of the engine, the pistons going down develop air pressure in the crankcase and forces the oil out.

right, your lower end is full of oil,the motor will sump it out thru the breather until the amount in the crankcase is at its proper level, motors working like its suposed to.(clean the check ball like earlier stated too)
