Gloves (sort of) ...I think I'm on to something
I just picked up a pair of these to try out. I went for a 30 min ride in about 50 degree temps. I was totally comfortable and had plenty of dexterity. I'm looking forward to a longer ride and I'll report back

They're wind/waterproof. Synthetic leather palm and fingers. Room inside to wear a liner as well. Rated to -20 degrees! They were thick enough around the wrist to keep wind from blowing up my sleeves too!

No kidding...Come to Massachusetts where it'll be somewhere around 38 degrees when I head out tomorrow morning...and I'm not complaining about it, just preparing for it

Gloves
Yea, it gets cold here in Tennessee too, but that is what those heated gloves are for. They were not cheap but were among the best investments I've made for riding.
