opinions for good touring helmet
Wife and I are looking for a full-face or modular helemet for loonger touring rides. It doesn't need to have fancy graphics. It just needs to be comfortable and have room for speakers (intercom type). I'd like to keep the cost under $200 per. Looking around that seems doable. THIS KBC helmet fit good. THIS GMax has the features and the price. Didn't get to try one on yet.
I'm looking for some testimonials and opinions to help us toward a decision. What do you like, not like, reputations of some brands for being good or any to stay away from, etc. I haven't bought a full face helmet in over 10 years so finding the prospect a little daunting.
Thanks.

RE: opinions for good touring helmet
I always use Arai full face helmets. Yes they are made in japan and quite expensive, However they are also extremely light and comfortable with removable cheek pads where you can put your earphones or speakers or what have you. I always put nice headphone speakers for music in mine. The removable pads make it that much easier. Whatever type you get, be safe and remeber, how much is your head worth. Mines worth the best.
