To the OP, I second everyone thoughts that first and foremost your ok. It sucks but look on the bright side because it could be much worse. As others have already stated, it shouldn't be too hard to find an indy custom painter who can match your existing paint scheme. And finally, based on what you said about the dog not having tags or id and the area being what it is, I'd guess the dog's "owner" isn't legally in this country and it will be very difficult to track down a responsible party.. Who knows, maybe calling immigration might help but again, I'd guess at best it's a shot in the dark since it would be extremely difficult to prove ownership. Most likely your it will be up to your home owners to cover the bike. And finally.. like some others.. I'm sorry that another dog had to pay for indiscriminate human negligence..
