Man I hate thieves if we could go back to chopping off their hands I bet it would cut down the number of people willing to risk it! I live on an air force base and yesterday the gate was locked down for about an hour because some houses were broken into, of course they didn't get caught, this was in broad open daylight too. You'd think it would be safe here. WRONG AGAIN

 

Yeah, that's what I figured. Right now all I see are the gold and chrome ones, but I'm sure they'll pop up at some point. I will also keep an eye out at swap meets.

What's majorly f*cked about that is most likely the thieves live on base with you and I know you boys know how to deal with this quietly if you ever find out who . Lots of street trash going in to avoid street life anymore .

I have checked every parts house I can find, checked all continential HD dealerships and a few across the pond. Everyone tells me the same thing, "You can not find this part anymore." I have a WTB post in the classifieds forums on this site. I'm curious if any of you know how hard it would be to get the gold off of the chrome and gold visors? I was thinking about getting a set, because HD still makes them and then either trying to buff the gold off or just get them chromed. Any of you have any tips or knowledge of this?

Earlier this year, my bud had the tailgate stolen off his Dodge Dually...the next night they came back for the whole truck.

 

It probably looks better now though.
