That was my first thought, but I had just checked my signals and lights and they were not loose then. I'm not worried because its not like they are a pricey item, but the principle of the matter is what bothers me.

Maybe the company you work for will try to make everyone that works their pay for them like the company I work for over a smashed up company car bummper no one will admit to. I told them if one red cent is taken out of my check they will get a small claim court notice in the mail, job or no job. About 10 other workers there told them the same thing.

Been there. But it happened to me at a dealer. Twice I've had something ripped off of my bike while inside the same dealership. No, I don't go there anymore.

Must have been a crackhead walking thru the lot. Bikers don't steal from other bikers or so I've been told.

It was probably kids. My bike has a factory security system, but I sometimes worry about someone removing the detachables when I'm parked overnight at motels. They come off in seconds. My insurance agent assured me that my windshield and bags are covered...after the $500 deductible, of course.

I had so many center caps stolen off of my 69 Chevelle that I stopped putting them back on it

I went to both my local dealerships today after work and the last one took the time to search out the correct part number, and search for it on the computer. He tells me its a discontinued part and there are no dealerships in the US with any in stock. Bummer...
