^^Possibly. It does look like a lot of work. But still $1,000 seems outrageous.

What size you going with?

After I ride my nightster for a year or so, maybe less, Im going with a bagger. Street Glides done right are beautiful.

Any pics of the SG and the

$1000 is plain nuts...i plan on doing mine myself, but i reaserched just for s**** and giggles...$300 at the stealer, $200 at the local indy...not bad...imo.

6-8 hrs @ $80 an hour here in So CA. Of course tax on top of that.
It's why I work on my own and recommend buying the manual.

I guess it boils down to how deep are your pockets and what the market will bear! At a grand for 4 hours work seems kinda steep to me. If you could change the tire on your 20" stingray with banana seat, you can handle wires even with minimal experience soldering.imho.

My FIL's Roadglide was going to cost about the same. When I get back down to Okla, I am going to help him do it.
