They as in his school?
As long as it has HD on it, someone somewhere will buy it.
I've lost count of the number of people I've asked about which bike they have after seeing them wearing HD products and they answer no bike.

But Schu, it's a "lifestyle" thang! Wouldn't your SO look really fine jingling around town with a bunch of those around her neck or wrist? The bling factor alone is awesome.

Every woman I know has a "Pandora" bracelet. They can't get enough of the charms.

It makes gift giving easy, a new charm for every occasion.

You can't fool me. That thing on the upper left is a worn-out cam chain tensioner, and I caught a 9 lb. walleye once with that thing on the bottom right.

Yep, my wife has a Pandora bracelet and it has certainly taken the guess work out of gift giving, lol. I'm sensing she may get a HD charm soon...
