First things first. Did you change anything or add anything to the lighting system? Changes to the lighting system can cause problems. Especially LEDs without load equalizers. If not, then check all the bulbs first. Make sure they are good and clean. Battery good? Turns bike over with lots of hump? Speedometer working? If it is then speed sensor is okay. I would suspect turn signal module.

Added a 3 in one tail light from RadII, but that was several months before this problem started. First time I noticed the problem was right after I got caught in a pretty heavy rain. Tail light does have LED's, but I have looked everywhere and haven't found any load equalizers for a '95, a few places list them for '91 and up, but say they only actually fig '96 and up

If it was me to trouble shoot this problem I would install my old taillight system and see if the blinkers work. I know nothing about your tail light system you installed but it might have had a built in load equalizer or possibly something changed. HD turn modulators are picky about what works and doesn't work with them. Remember when trouble shooting a problem not to create another problem by not being sure of your changes.

Ask the parts guy at the HD dealer for some blinker grease. Keeps the contacts from corroding. Couple of bucks will fix you right up. I don't have the part #.

Dielectric grease? I thought everyone had a huge tube of that. I use it on everything electrical. Saves contacts, eases plug wire removal, and helps keep moisture off of and out of contact points.

naw, checked blinker grease and fluid, both are topped off/greased up. I'll have to pull the turn signal module tomorrow. Is there a troubleshooting section in my FSM to diagnose it (my manual is in my garage, other side of town)

Could be the turn signal modulator is going out. ( about $135.00 )

I had an occasional intermitent problem in the 10 yr ownership of my 00 superglide ,

no rhyme or reason.

My buddy who bought it just replaced the modulator and problem solved.
