Mustang seat confusion...
So, like many others before me, I'm looking to get rid of the stock torture seat and get something more comfortable on my Street Bob. One of the options I'm looking at is the Mustang Tripper Solo. (not to be confused with the Daytripper) I was on their website and saw something that confused me a bit. Under the description, it says "NOTE: Will not fit with stock seat." Well of course it wont fit with the stock seat.. the stock seat is gonna be removed to put the new seat on!
Am I missing something here? Do they mean there needs to be alterations to the bike/fender for the seat to fit?
While I'm on the subject, does anyone have one of these seats? I hear a lot of positive talk about Mustang seats, but from what I've read, they're usually talking about the Vintage Solo.

I think it's a catch all description that applies to their pillion seats and it just gets printed on most or all of their models. I have had a Mustang on another bike and they are great. I should be getting my Regal Duke in tomorrow. Can't wait!

I just bought a Mustang wide touring seat. I think that a pillion seat will mount with their solo seats but it has to be the one they designed for it. The stock pillon will not fit once you put on their rider seat.

If you have any questions about their products, call them. They are very helpful, and will talk to you about the most minute detail concerning their seats. Nice folks!
