Avon venom in front, their sport touring tire on the rear (they don't make a 17' venom. the tread pattern is similar on the sport touring)
I had Avons on my 2005 Deuce and really liked them, better than the Metzelers in my opinion. I think the sport touring tire was the Storm, as 2deuce said they don't make the Venom in your size for the rear.
Have you considered the Dunlop E3? They have a better tread pattern than the stock Dunlops so you don't get that squirrely feeling when you go over cracks in the road and they are made with a softer compound and have better "gription". The Metzler's that I had (880) were very good in all conditions but they wore out too soon.
Got 19,000 out of Dunlop E3's on a '10 RK. Going to have Michelin's put on tomorrow, find out if their claim of superior tire life is worth a crap.
