Default i've bought Hard Rock exhaust. Any good ?

Hi guys. Few weeks ago ive purchased this : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT

Has anyone heard of the brand "Hard-Krome" ? Tbh i thought this was a Vance&Hines so i imediatly purchased it but recently i've discovered the real brand.... Hard-Krome dynaglide 2.5" classic 80-2020
I was told this is a cheap exhaust for jap motorcycles even if built in America
What do you think about? Did i buy junk ?

I have heard of Hard Krome and they do build for metrics as well as HD. But so does V&H (had their longshots on my 01 Road Star), Samson and I am sure others. Never owned any HK's so I can't really say. They advertise as "blue proof" and their 2-1 sideburners were well built, good looking pipes that I have seen.

How do they look or mic pipe-wise? Shields are obviously wasted so you are going to wrap or weld new in place?

I've never heard of it, but it was only $25 so if it turns out to be junk I really wouldn't worry about it. If it turns out to be a decent product, you got a smokin good deal.

I know some people who have Hard Krome pipes on their metric bikes. They look and sound good. For the price you got them for you really have nothing to lose. Give em a shot and see how you like them.

HC's are good pipes, at least the ones I've seen on Honda's.

those look to be in really bad shape though...

I put HK on two Honda's that I owned. IMO....the ones that I had were very nice. I had the HK Double D Long Shots. I put around 20k miles on them with no issue's. They had a pretty good sound for a metric.....

I bought a set of their pipes new off Ebay from a vendor for a 2005 Fat Boy I had. The fit was good, They were double wall pipes as advertised. I thought the quality was excellent fit good, easy to install. I think you would call what I had "Short Shots".

I had Hard Chromes on my Honda 750. I had so many people say how great they sound at stop lights. The chrome is great too. They do not scratch easy. I would buy them again.
