Sorry to read about your accident. How are you now?
I started to wear a full face helmet, years ago, to cut down on the constant winds in Kansas from force feeding me air from the side.
I never thought about the safety part until I t-boned a car.
I would guess that the helmet was the reason I survived the crash.

Don't exspect a big settlment from insurance,unless u have debilitating injuries. Thanx 2 our Government,and Tort reform, u won't get jack. Been there. And the Attournies will take what little pain and suffering u get. Your better off to see what Insurance offers before u ever talk to Att.

God speed your recovery and thank him the injuries weren't worse. I know the value of the proper riding equipment. I had an accident without a helmet many years ago. I went head first into a telephone pole. After a week in intensive care in a coma I did make it and got back on my bike as soon as I could. Hope you first crash will be your last. Ride safe and ride often.
