Default Denim Riding Pants

I'm looking for some comfortable denim riding pants that have reinforced sections that are made for riding and protection. Does anyone have any recommendations on a good brand? Icon, Alpinestar, Cortech, etc.

Thanks for the link. Do you have a pair of either one?

Not as upscale as those on your list, but our local Farm Supply store has a great selection of reinforced work jeans. The pair i am wearing now are made by Dickies and they are heavy denim reinforced in the front. Designed as a heavy duty work pant but they are perfect for riding. I think I paid $25.

The best jeans I've ever seen for riding are made in Japan. Iron Heart is the brand and they use 21 oz. denim. Not only are they durable and well-made, but they look good, coming in several styles and patterns. Ya just gotta be prepared to take it in the wallet, at 20,000 yen (about $235) a pair. For that reason alone, I have yet to own a pair, but would like to.

Wrangler straight leg are fine for me. If I need more protection from the elements I use chaps or my Hi Vis rain suit. Anything needed more than that is more than I can afford to even think about. If I were looking for or felt the need for anything else I would think about going to Kmart instead of Walmart....

Sartso is another one. http://www.sartso.com/index.php

I'm gonna pick a pair up over the off season. Maybe throw it on my Christmas wish list.

By golly, I do like some of those Sartso jeans, as well. Very cool. Bookmarked.

Try shift jeans from motorcycle superstore. They are reinforced with Kevlar. I have 3 pairs and like them.
