Yes they are that bright. I added them after I had two close calls in one day with cagers that came way too close for comfort. Havent had the problem since. I looked around and $199 was the best I could do.

Elkhunter is your seat a Corbin Solo with the back rest? The reason I am asking is I have a Corbin Solo on my 2010 Sportster 1200C and am considering adding a back rest, how do you like it?

Thanks,

Jack

I get that all the time. My wife HATES following me in a cage...says my tail light is "Really annoying how bright it is."

*Note: If you read the statistics, in cases where we riders are not our own worst enemy (failure to negotiate curves, too fast for conditions, drunk, etc...), a significant number of those accidents/deaths are attributed to rear impacts. A bright light/light pattern is an attention getter, and you need all the help you can get. In the absence of a steel bumper, being seen with a BRIGHT light will go a long way in making you a long lived rider.

Default Bright *** Lights

I bought the BAL-2R direct for BALs it has 12 LEDs with multiple patterns in addition to steady. One of the best investments I made.... bright as hell. Just as good of an investment as my motolights on the front.

Thank you. That is about as convincing as anything I have EVER seen! Is some sort of electrical load balancer required for this thing?
