Default Need help from Fox Creek owners.

OK, you Fox Creek guys have talked me into buying a jacket from them. I know my actual measurements,(chest, stomach, height, weight)do I order my jacket by those exact measurements, or do I order a bigger size for a little more clothing? In other words, if I put my exact measurements on the order page online, do they allow for clothing, or do I need to order bigger to allow for it?

They do not allow for additional clothing. To do so measure yourself with what ever warm gear you normally wear under your jacket and send those measurements. Or you could call them they have fantastic customer service.

Thanks. I'll add on for that then.

Call their customer service. They'll ask you for some measurements and then they'll adjust much better than you will.

In my experience (pretty extensive, since I deal for them in Japan), Fox Creek jacket sizes tend to run a little small, so unless you like a tight fit and won't wear anything besides a long-sleeved shirt under the jacket with liner, you'd probably be better off ordering one size up. My chest measurement came in at 42, but I ended up getting a size 44. It fits perfectly and I've got some room to layer underneath.

I agree with Shane, order a little larger. The quality of the products are great. The leather is very thick and soft.

I just ordered a Greyson and put an extra 1/2" for the chest and stomach, following the advice of their girls at the customer service.

I tried going a size up when I ordered my jacket in a 42. Wound up sending it back in exchange for a 40. The 42 was okay in that it allowed room for extra clothing BUT -- 1.) it bunched up around the chest and sides when sitting on my bike and 2.) for warm weather, wearing just a T-shirt under it, it was WAY too expansive. Defeated the purpose of wearing a leather jacket; leave your bike, hit the pavement and in less than a second the loose jacket will be bunched up around your neck strangling you. The size 40 I exchanged it for is perfect; slightly snug in the summer with the liner out and very snug in the winter with the liner in and an extra shirt on. The way a motorcycle jacket should fit, IMHO.

It's simple. Take accurate measurements then call them. I posted my measurements on their site and they still called me to explain their approach and confirm the details. If need be they gladly accept exchanges for size but shipping is no longer free. Thier people can answer your questions and help you get it right the first time. Great service and a great jacket.
